Randi (Ostry) Thomas leads BioEnterprise’s strategic development efforts, offering more than three decades of experience in both the public and private sectors in the law, policy, fundraising and advocacy. Skilled in relationship-building with a keen knowledge of the usefulness of bioscience technologies, Randi’s expertise is in leveraging cross-sector strategic alliances to help solve some of society’s most pressing problems.
Most recently, Randi served by appointment of Governor Mike DeWine to the Attorney General’s Heroin Unit. As Director of Statewide Substance Use Education and Business Initiatives, Randi’s work with social entrepreneurs in the biomedical community assisted state government by informing sound policy creation and resource allocation with data-informed solutions.
Randi received her J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and studied at Cambridge University, Downing College of Law and Medicine. Randi’s extensive network in the Cleveland and Columbus civic, government and entrepreneurship communities enhance BioEnterprise’s mission in healthcare innovation.
