Exchanges is an evening program to spark discovery, learning and discussion about the past, present and future of science and medicine.
“It’s Electric,” is a short 15 minute talk by author, historian, and TEDx speaker Brandy Schillace, followed by a mini-panel, featuring:
- Bob Kirsch, PhD, Executive Director, Cleveland FES Center
- Jonathan Miller, MD, Director, Functional and Restorative Neurosurgery Center, University Hospitals Case Medical Center
- Jay Alberts, PhD, Vice Chair of Health Technology Enablement, Clinical Transformation, Director, Cleveland Clinic Concussion Center
The audience will also be engaged to address today’s use and the future of electricity in medicine.
Exchanges is supported by Dittrick Medical History Center and Museum, as part of College of Arts and Sciences, Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Medical Library Association and Global Center for Health Innovation.
