H.I.T. Accelerator

The Health IT Accelerator is a virtual platform designed to speed the growth of emerging health IT companies in the Cleveland region.

Access to Customers
The platform provides developers of new health IT products and solutions access to gain feedback and insights from IT executives and decision makers at their targeted customers, including:

• Cleveland Clinic	• Akron General
• University Hospitals	• SummaCare
• Summa Health System	• Medical Mutual of Ohio
• MetroHealth System	• Case Western Reserve

Support for Development
In addition to product development guidance, selected companies may be given the opportunity to discuss demonstration sites with these organizations and receive entrepreneurial assistance and mentoring from BioEnterprise, including support for capital raises, business development efforts, and establishing strategic partnerships.

Application Process

Eligibility:
Only Cleveland-area healthcare IT companies with market-ready (completed) or in-market products and services are eligible. Products or services in Beta form or development stage are not eligible.

Evaluation process:
Eligible companies must submit applications during the following designated periods:

H.I.T. Accelerator Session	Submission Period
Fall 2012	9/24-10/12
Winter 2013	12/17-1/11
Summer 2013	7/22-8/9

Any applying companies will be notified whether or not they have been accepted into the H.I.T. Accelerator. Selected companies will present their products through a social networking platform.
