SironRX Therapeutics is a venture-backed, private biotechnology company developing novel regenerative therapies that accelerate dermal wound healing and reduce scar formation. The Company's therapeutic platform is based on delivery of Stromal cell-Derived Factor 1 (SDF-1), which has been shown to promote tissue repair through recruitment of stem cells to the damaged organ. SDF-1 has also been shown to prevent cell death and promote new blood vessel formation. SironRX's first clinical indication will evaluate the use of SDF-1 in accelerating wound repair following surgery.
