Axiomed is in clinical trials with the Freedom™ Lumbar Disc, an artificial disc that offers a new surgical alternative to fusion for degenerative disc disease. The Freedom™ Lumbar Disc will advance the standard of care beyond fusion and first generation artificial discs, and restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of human life. Axiomed is also developing a cervical disc.
